Since 2021, I've been an active member of UMAW, the United Musicians and Allied Workers.
I also helped to co-found UMAW Philly.
In 2023, myself and a few other co-workers at my dayjob formed the first ever Union of Standardized Patients, Jeff SPs United, Unionized in partnership with OPEIU Local 32.

In April 2024, I and a few other organizer released a benefit compilation for Palestine, Musicians for a Free Palestine, which you can read more about here.
A personal passion project has been my deep admiration for and love of vintage cinema palaces.
In September 2024, I fundraised for my birthday and partnered with Oscar Beisert of the Keeping Society of Philadelphia to preserve a beautiful cinema palace in my neighborhood Teatro Puerto Rico, aka "The Diamond." It has since been historically designated and preserved!
Local Nonprofit APM (Asociación Puertorriqueños en Marcha) has since acquired the theater, and plans to revitalize it, which I find very exciting!!!
In December 2025, a group of independent organizers and I launched Scenes Off Spotify, a coordinated effort to help bands and local communities fully divest from Spotify. More actions are planned for early 2026; if you are interested in being involved, please reach out!
